Cognizant becomes Global Premier Partner in Claude Partner Network, embeds Claude across its platforms

Cognizant and Anthropic announced an expanded partnership on July 27, 2026 that makes Cognizant one of a small number of Global Premier Partners in the Claude Partner Network, deepening a relationship the two companies first announced in late 2025. As part of the expansion, Cognizant is embedding Claude across its own business and engineering platforms, integrating Claude Code into its Flowsource platform's spec driven development module, and scaling what it calls a Frontier Certified workforce model built around Claude certified employees, with more than 30,000 Cognizant associates already having completed Claude training. The companies cited early client results to make the case for the expansion, including a 40 percent reduction in contract review time and roughly eight hours a week saved per underwriter at insurance clients using Claude powered tools built by Cognizant. “AI capability is rising faster than enterprises can absorb it, and that gap is the defining problem of this moment,” said Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S, framing his company's role as bridging that gap with industry context, engineering scale and trust frameworks. Anthropic co-founder and president Daniela Amodei said deepening the partnership would “help more companies harness AI's growing capability and deploy it in real, practical ways.” The expanded deal reflects a broader pattern of frontier AI labs increasingly relying on large systems integrators like Cognizant to translate raw model capability into deployed enterprise software, rather than selling directly to every enterprise customer themselves.
