Cognizant becomes a top-tier Anthropic partner, expands Claude across its platforms
9:00 AM ET · July 30, 2026
Cognizant and Anthropic announced an expanded partnership this week that makes Cognizant one of a small number of Global Premier Partners in the Claude Partner Network, building on a relationship the two companies first announced in late 2025. Cognizant is embedding Claude directly into the systems it builds and operates for clients across manufacturing, life sciences and insurance, and says more than 30,000 of its own employees have completed Claude training as part of a new internal Frontier Certified workforce program. The companies cited concrete results from early deployments, including contract review times cut by up to 40 percent with more than 88 percent extraction accuracy, faster customer experience rollouts, and underwriting research that once took hours now completed in about a minute. The expansion is part of a broader pattern of large consulting and IT services firms racing to become preferred delivery partners for frontier AI labs, since much of enterprise AI adoption still runs through systems integrators rather than direct deployments. For Anthropic, deepening ties with a services firm the size of Cognizant gives Claude a distribution channel into large, regulated enterprises at a moment when the company is separately preparing for a possible public listing later this year.
