Anthropic in early talks to lease up to 10 billion dollars in compute from Meta

Anthropic is in early talks to lease as much as 10 billion dollars worth of computing power from Meta over two years, according to CNBC and the New York Times. The prospective deal, first proposed by Anthropic in June, would mark Meta's first step into selling cloud compute and reflects the continuing scramble among AI labs to secure scarce Nvidia chips.
