Cognizant Becomes Anthropic’s Top Tier Partner, Expands Claude Across Its Platforms

The expanded partnership builds on an existing relationship the two companies announced in late 2025, and it marks a shift from experimentation toward embedding Claude directly into the systems large enterprises already run on. Cognizant is deploying Claude-powered tools across manufacturing, life sciences, insurance, financial services, and telecommunications, and the company is highlighting concrete production results rather than pilot-stage promises. An agentic contract-intelligence system built for pharmaceutical clients has cut contract review time by up to 40 percent while maintaining over 88 percent extraction accuracy, and a risk-navigation tool for insurance underwriters is saving roughly eight hours of work per person each week. In one case, Cognizant says it built a customer experience portal for a global manufacturer within six months using the Claude-based platform. Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S said the partnership reflects a broader tension playing out across the industry, noting that ‘AI capability is rising faster than enterprises can absorb it, and that gap is the defining problem of this moment.’ As Anthropic’s Global Premier Partner, Cognizant will also expand its Claude-certified workforce beyond the 30,000 employees who have already completed training, positioning itself as a primary integrator translating Anthropic’s model capability into deployed enterprise software.
