Anthropic partners with UST to bring Claude into chip design, healthcare, telecom, and banking

Anthropic has named UST, a technology and engineering services firm, a Global Premier Partner in its Claude Partner Network, with UST committing to train 20,000 of its engineers, architects, and consultants on Claude's capabilities worldwide. The partnership spans four industries: in chip design, Claude Code reads hardware schematics and generates regression tests for validation, which UST says has cut cycle times by 50-70%; in healthcare, a platform called CarePath uses Claude to turn scattered patient data into actionable care recommendations, with human approval required before any action is taken; in telecom, a system called IntelliOps uses Claude to identify network issues and predict radio access network failures before they cause outages; and in banking, a platform called FinX integrates Claude-based agents into case handling and other operational workflows. Anthropic says the collaboration is designed to preserve human oversight and governance controls that regulated industries like healthcare and banking require, with UST receiving enablement and certification support directly from Anthropic as part of the partnership.
